It was a bitterly cold day of -12 celsius when I took this photo. The wind was blowing in from the south side (USA) of Lake Ontario. The rising steam you see is from the hot water outlet flowing from the nuclear power plant. What else is wet? Head over to Water Wednesday and find out.

These heaving waters create a fascinating drama! Great photo!
ReplyDeleteThe water is so beautiful in this photo. I love the highlights.
ReplyDeleteOh what a wonderful picture. The light is sparkling together with the water :)

It is hard to go wrong with a waterfront photo... this one looks cold and a bit turbulent! I hope that you did not get wet in taking this shot!
ReplyDeleteBises,
G
Nice shot. Is it taken near Port Hope? Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
ReplyDeleteGary... This photo was taken in Pickering at the south end of Liverpool Rd.
ReplyDeleteWATER
ReplyDeleteWater in a drop of rain,
Water swirling down the drain;
Water clinging to the trees,
Water filling up the seas;
Water frozen, water free,
Water is the stuff for me!
