It was abandoned in the 1980's and destined for demolition, but it was designated a heritage site by the city of Toronto. See more scenes at Scenic Sunday.

  1. I think it's a good idea to keep old buildings up, but only if they find new uses for them. Any plans for these old silos??

  5. It is interesting which structures government deeds as worthy to keep. In the US, these structures are extremely difficult to rehab because you have to keep their historical significance.

  9. I remember when some of the silo's were removed by explosives. Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
