A gorgeous creature, Andy, but I'm quite emotional about falcons. The Merlin falcons in our neighbourhood used our two big poplars as their dining room one year, bringing their youngster here and eating songbirds all night. I got up one morning and found our deck covered in the heads, feet and wings of little songbirds, and I still haven't recovered from the shock several years later.
