At 780 km (485 miles) the Waterfront Trail stretches from Niagara-on-the-Lake to the Quebec border, along the shores of Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River in Ontario, Canada. This scene is one of few areas that requires a short detour around an impasse on the waterfront. I'm linking to Signs, Signs.

Another sign you have beaten me to posting, Andy. :))
ReplyDeletea familiar sign!
ReplyDeleteSorry EG. I never thought of the sign worthy of posting until I saw it in this scene.
ReplyDeleteHi Andy,
ReplyDeleteHere's the address for Eric's Auto Body that you requested: 13951 Marsh Hill Road, Utica (a Port Perry hamlet).
It's west of Port Perry actually, and on the corner of highway 21 and Marsh Hill Road.
This is an odd section of the trail!
ReplyDeleteFunnily enough, I've never thought of photographing it either. Too ubiquitous, I guess.
Bird, leaf, fish? The sign looks unique to someone who hasn't seen it before.
ReplyDeleteI don't mind living here. The house are gorgeous and it's close to the water. ^_^
ReplyDeleteSigns
A familiar sign to me, too! Nice shot.
ReplyDelete[And yes, you are right about the poop and scoop message of my sign. I was a bit surprised no one got it from the humour in my title - a translation of the words on the sign. :-D I added a PS to my post.]
What a clever design! Bird, leaf and fish have the same shape and one can clearly see what's what. Beautiful composition too.
ReplyDeleteLove this shot. Where along the trail is this?
ReplyDeleteSuch cute signs!
ReplyDeleteI'm back, although sporadically until I get my own internet connection. Postal strike is not helping. :)
RedPat... the scene is located at the bottom of Liverpool Rd. in Pickering.
ReplyDeleteHey, Andy, you've been quiet for a long time. I hope all is well with you.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your concern VioletSky. Everything is fine with me. I have been away for a few weeks and and I have also been trying to spend more time outdoors.
