When I was a kid I used to dream of growing up to become a super hero. For reasons beyond my control things did not workout that way. I'm linking to Signs, Signs.
I'm with Lesley ... you can always still pretend. That's what children do so well ... imagine there is a cape with an insignia of a super hero hidden in the house until needed.
When he was younger, my brother tied a sheet to his back and jumped off the roof, expecting to fly. Alas, no super heroes in our family! He landed softly, and only damaged his ego ... and his dreams.
What a shame, your dreams dashed... still you can always pretend

ReplyDeleteThanks for the encouragement. I'm into my sixth decade of life and I still haven't grownup.
ReplyDeleteIt didn't work out for you either huh? Oh well -- you take heroic pictures! And make a lot of people happy.. what more could a superhero want!
