Andy | Saturday, December 03, 2011 | Best Blogger Tips

My saga continues with the Pickering Pedestrian Bridge. The work continues but the opening date has been pushed back from October until May 2012. I'm linking to San Francisco Bay Daily Photo.

  1. Although this is a post about a bridge, the real story is about your great shot with an interesting angle, lines, and a beautiful sky! Wonderful, mon ami.

  2. What a cool shot! It's rare that we see a photo of a bridge under construction! I love the perspective of this shot, and that sky is just fantastic!

  4. Oh dear. I don't know the story of this crossing, but we have a similar delayed problem with a certain pier in Burlington...

  6. I just drove "under" it today. Seems that it's pretty finished already. Although I did notice one of the glass panels was shattered.

  7. In Singapore, if you don't use bridges like this and jay walk, they will fine you.

  8. Yes, cool POV, Andy. So I went back to the two earlier posts, and, span five railway tracks, twelve lanes of highway and one local road, how LONG will this walk be? And what on earth keeps delaying the completion?

  10. This is a good common sense Blog. Very helpful to one who is just finding the resources about this part. It will certainly help educate me.
