Beautiful autumn shots. It keeps me admazing these colors.
ReplyDeleteLovely and somehow touching close ups.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful but harbingers of a less beautiful and colourful snowy landscape.
ReplyDeleteWow startling contrast between deep blue and rust of the leaves!
ReplyDeleteThe colours in the 2nd shot are fabulous, Andy!
ReplyDeleteI love the leaf colors - these are great - but I think it's the blue skies I miss the most as autumn morphs into winter. We're into a grey skies cycle that portends a long winter.
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking this truly is their last stand, Andy!
ReplyDeleteOur maple leaves are all gone now...I just hope our maple trees are still standing when we wake up in the morning. 60mph winds are on their way plus rain and snow. I am to old for this mess. Bah Humbug!!! Your maple leaves are beautiful just like our were. So filled with vibrant color. genie
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Lets keep fall going Andy . I took so many pictures of fall. I am addicted to them.
ReplyDeleteLove your pictures. The first one is nice as it has its two tone colors and like you say. It is hanging on. Your second photo is so pretty.
You know we are to have a big storm us Canadians as well to-morrow all week.
Be safe don't go too far away from home Andy taking pictures this week.
We have an older man in our area who has been missing for 3 days. He has got lost.
I live in Bush area. So sure have been praying for him. That he gets home safe that someone has found him before these high winds start up to-morrow Monday. His love ones must be frantic he is missing..
After this weekend, I doubt there will be many leaves left. Glad you caught these before the colours of fall are gone.
ReplyDeleteNothing quite like a beautiful leaf in Autumn. Years back I had a maple leaf badge, dad was offered a job in Saskatchewan, but I did not want to leave school so we stayed here in England.
ReplyDeleteMaples are my favorite fall tree. The syrup isn't bad either. Great color in these photos.
ReplyDeleteYes, Sandy's after-effects might be a whole lot of bare trees.
ReplyDeleteProbably the season I most miss, living in the tropics... and with our upcoming move continually delayed by red tape, we'll be stepping from summer straight into winter... and that's a bummer! These maple leaves are so glorious, Andy!
