Photographed November 6, 2013. Last August 2013, I started a photo project that I called "Monday Bikes". Every Monday (almost every Monday) I posted a bike related photo. The only rule I had was that it to have bike in it... either peddle power or motorized. I have finally run out of different ways to photograph them. So today's posting is the end of the series. Even though she's not riding a bike I thought it was a novelty that she is in the bike lane. Now I need to find a new subject that I can maintain and enjoy.

It's a good photo of someone I would ordinarily be a little too old for skateboarding. You will find another theme that will give you pleasure and challenge, I'd bet.
ReplyDeleteI liked your bike serie very much and hope you find a new subject. This lady is a bit misplaced, I shouldn't have expected her seeing on the skateboard.
ReplyDeleteGood find -- an unusual sight. Good luck deciding on your next project. We'll look forward to it!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your bike series very much and I do like this girl skateboarding in the bike lane.
ReplyDeleteLike this one! You see some people skateboarding to work in DC.
ReplyDeleteAnother snippet of history in time. After a few years this photos are becoming more and more interesting. Now to find another task to capture today for the future.
ReplyDeleteI'd fall flat on my face!
ReplyDeleteThat looks dangerous! I've enjoyed your bike series Andy.
ReplyDeleteI have never tried skateboarding but this person looks comfortable on one. The bike series was fun.
ReplyDeleteShe doesn't strike me as the skateboarder type. Interested to see what you choose for a new project!
ReplyDeleteYou may find more cool bike shots once the weather stays warm, Andy!
ReplyDeletei like it...and i love the idea that came with it!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your bike series - and she's a good finale. She looks like an unlikely candidate for skateboarding...and you did catch a parked bike next to her. It should be fun to think of a new series. It's a good idea.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed it Andy.
ReplyDeleteWonderful street photography! Curious to what you will choose to shoot next.

ReplyDeleteOne way of getting around even though I never got the hang of it (too Old)
ReplyDeleteShe doesn't look very happy. And I bet the bicyclists won't be happy with her in their lane either!
ReplyDeleteAnd you caught a bicycle on the roadside, too!
