My wife and I went to the zoo last January. It was a freezing cold day of -17°C (1.4°F). It was not the best day for a frozen banana. It turned out we were also almost the only visitors to the zoo that day. I wonder why. I'm linking to Lesley's Signs, Signs.
How about the animals. Where they coping okay with the weather?
ReplyDeleteMost were kept inside including the penguins. I was surprised to see the tigers on the outside.
DeleteWell,when I couldn't get a frozen banana, I wouldn't come either...:)

ReplyDeletego figure, why you were alone. *shrugs shoulders*
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute little banana stand! It will be hopping with business before too long!
ReplyDeleteOh my, I can't even imagine going to the zoo when it was that cold.
ReplyDeleteI would be happy to endure a bit of cold to visit the zoo without the crowds. Yes, we have no bananas!
ReplyDeleteYikes, that's mighty cold for a walk through the zoo. I'm not sure how much I'd like a frozen banana.
ReplyDeleteThere are lots of indoor places to explore though. I probably wouldn't have ventured out there, Andy!
ReplyDeleteFrozen banana seem to be a very cool thing...but yeah, not on a freezing day.
ReplyDeleteI haven't been to the zoo in years. I should return there sometime when I'm in the area.
ReplyDeleteAwesome photo, Andy! :)
ReplyDeleteThat's an interesting concept.
ReplyDeleteI don't love crowds much any more , but don't think I'd be able to brave that weather for a private tour of the zoo. The banana stand is cute, but def a hot weather treat.
ReplyDeleteCute one.
