Nice project Andy. The start is great already. Love to see more of it.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with that. I would think you would have plenty of opportunities. But then I'm not certain whether these are as ubiquitous as they once were.
ReplyDeleteNice project.
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing we see less and less of these coke machines than we used to. Every gas station had one but now gas stations and combination affairs and usually offer a variety of drinks inside the building. I like the shadows in this shot, too.
ReplyDeleteI think you are right Lowell. The lack of Coke machines should make this project more challenging. It is just what I need to start clicking again.
DeleteHopefully, you can find one of the old school Coke machines. They're about as common as pay phones here, though.
ReplyDeleteGreat choice of subject. My beverage of choice. Brings back the memory of the chest type dispenser my uncle bought me a coke from at his workplace many, many years ago. Waiting to see a photo of that design.
ReplyDeleteInteresting project. There is quite a variety on machines out there so it should be interesting.
ReplyDeleteYou have nice new project.
ReplyDeleteThese coca cola machines you don't see here in my country very often any more.
I'll have Pepsi please.
ReplyDeleteWhy does this look depressing to me?
ReplyDeletePerhaps you are a Pepsi drinker.
Deletethey are almost as rare as phone booths, so get ready for a challenge. i rarely see these anymore!!!
ReplyDeletebut it is fun to have a project/challenge!!
Somehow I still think of the way they looked in the '50s
ReplyDeleteYou have set yourself an unusual project, Andy. I look forward to seeing the results. You are off to a great start. The Coke machine is the only thing not deteriorated here.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great start. I'll look forward to seeing where you find more of these.
ReplyDeleteA typical location. Some grocery stores still have one in the entrance or out the doors.
