When you are on verge of starvation there is no pity or compassion. That goes for every living thing on the planet. |

The cycle of life, bery true.
ReplyDeleteThe sea looks like velvet!
Thats the balance of nature. The strongest wil survive.
ReplyDeleteThat is nature, to eat and be eaten....
ReplyDeleteIt's a survivor!
ReplyDeleteGreat capture, Andy! When I'm at the beach, I'm always fascinated by the cycle of life. Seashells wash ashore with mollusks inside...they wriggle out of their shells...only to be snapped up by a predator, like the seagull you photographed.
ReplyDeleteYou've captured well the determination of this bird to fulfill its dietary needs!
ReplyDeleteIt's a rough world out there!
ReplyDeleteA determined bird gets his fresh meal. Excellent capture!
ReplyDeleteSo the world turns.
ReplyDeleteMuy oportuno el momento que has captado, la gaviota con su almuerzo en el pico.
ReplyDeleteSaludos.
Good shot Andy and very true words
ReplyDeleteEverything is food for something--- except maybe elephants. Good shot.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like the seagull is about to be caught in the crab's pincer. The crab may not need pity.
ReplyDeleteSome days you're the prey, some days you're the predator.
