    One of my kids favorite things to do is find worms in the garden, examine them up close and then release them. It's so much fun :-)

    I'm fine with worms... except the one time an eager hostess (my Chinese mother) presented me with a towering plateful of live squirming worms and keeping a smile on my face I turned to my husband and said, in English, which she did not understand, "please, tell me that is NOT my lunch." It was. And I ate them. :-D
