Go Transit is the local commuter train that services the Greater Toronto Area.
In 2009 they started installing bike storage shelters at the stations.

How delightful to see that bicycle sign atop the bike "carport"... so much better than the usual metal, painted signs one sees.

That's so much more creative than yet another regular posted sign! Not an eyesore, this bicycle sign!
ReplyDeleteBiking and then using mass transit is certainly a green way to travel.
ReplyDeleteThat first photo is fantastic! I have never seen a bicycle shed like this! (Can't see the second one! After clicking, a message says "forbidden access"!)

ReplyDeleteforgot what I said, but I like this stylistic bike. I never take the GO - I probably should.
(P.S. was trying to help Lesley out, but she was back before she needed me, sorry L!)
That's quite a lovely addition to the street scene Andy! I'm impressed. I love public transportation -- this country needs more, but we're not getting it much.
ReplyDeleteThat's super - I've never seen these! great capture.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like an unusually clean and tidy train station. And I love the bike sign!
