It's me hamming it up in "The Tavern". The bottle houses are located on Prince Edward Island, Canada.
You can find out more here. What else does "B" stand for? Find out at ABC Wednesday.
Now that's an original house. Fascinating, I guess one never needs to paint the walls.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to see this one for myself.
Thanks for visiting my blog and your nice comments Andy.
What a fun post for the B Day, Andy! Love those BOTTLES! Looks like a great tavern to me! Love your captures and it does look as though you both had a great time!!

I saw a video of a bottle house in New Zealand after WWII. Interesting concept!

Andy, I heard of bottle houses before, but I can't recall seeing photos this good! Brilliant! Nice to see you hamming it up, too!
ReplyDeleteVery unique. But what happens if one of the bottles breaks? There is a beer can house in Houston, Texas, but I think this is probably cuter.
ReplyDeleteInteresting architecture, Andy, and it's nice to see photos of you and your wife. I'm just not sure how I'd feel about all those bottles sticking out on the inside of the wall. What a lot of dusting they'd require!

Oh...now this is just too cool! What a clever way to recycle! You look a little tipsy to me Andy...you sure that bottle was empty before you got your hands on it ;)
ReplyDeleteI think I saw that years ago when on PEI...or was it someplace in California? Wherever, it's brilliant! Love your photo at the "bar."

Now I know what to do with my empties! If the bottles were the other way round, imagine the sounds when the wind blew!!
ReplyDeleteThis is very beautiful. Love it!

What a cool house! So that's where those bottles in my recycle bin went. HaHaHa
ReplyDeleteGreat idea for building a ne kind of house, although I'm not sure what you do if one of the bottle-bricks breaks!
ReplyDeletethe bottles were fill with wine?
ReplyDeleteFor such a small island, they sure went through a lot of wine to help him build this!
ReplyDeleteOh, wow, that's so cool! What great pictures!
ReplyDeleteWoW! I've heard of such things, but I've never actually seen them. Amazing! Wonder what would happen if any of them breaks?
ReplyDeleteMy "B" is here:
Blissful Memories
What a great choice for B. Never would believe it - a house made completely of bottles!
