ABC Wednesday Letter "B" - Bottle House

Andy | Tuesday, July 26, 2011 | Best Blogger Tips

It's my wife preparing to enter the bottle house.

Bottles collected from landfill sites before recycling.

It's me hamming it up in "The Tavern". The bottle houses are located on Prince Edward Island, Canada.
You can find out more here. What else does "B" stand for? Find out at ABC Wednesday.

  1. Now that's an original house. Fascinating, I guess one never needs to paint the walls.
I'd like to see this one for myself.
Thanks for visiting my blog and your nice comments Andy.

  4. Andy, I heard of bottle houses before, but I can't recall seeing photos this good! Brilliant! Nice to see you hamming it up, too!

  5. Very unique. But what happens if one of the bottles breaks? There is a beer can house in Houston, Texas, but I think this is probably cuter.

  6. Interesting architecture, Andy, and it's nice to see photos of you and your wife. I'm just not sure how I'd feel about all those bottles sticking out on the inside of the wall. What a lot of dusting they'd require!

  7. Oh...now this is just too cool! What a clever way to recycle! You look a little tipsy to me Andy...you sure that bottle was empty before you got your hands on it ;)

  8. I think I saw that years ago when on PEI...or was it someplace in California? Wherever, it's brilliant! Love your photo at the "bar."

  11. Great idea for building a ne kind of house, although I'm not sure what you do if one of the bottle-bricks breaks!

  12. For such a small island, they sure went through a lot of wine to help him build this!
