A real beauty here. Still this is also the power of the modern digitals. In the film days you thought twice before you tried such picture because you was afraid that the whole scene would be blurred or flared out. Great one Andy.
ReplyDeleteThanks S.C. You are right about the digital cameras. Take as many photos as you like and pick the best. I'm still in the learning mode when it comes to exposure. This was a manual shot with the reading taken from the sky.
ReplyDeleteoh, wow. love the windmill there as well as the sunset. wow... great view. (:
ReplyDeleteYou`ve found a great spot for repeatedly lovely sky shots, Andy. Good for you!

Very beautiful sky!
ReplyDeletePS: My photo today is from the Ex.
Lovely rays.. making an otherwise ugly landscape look so pretty.
ReplyDeleteAndy....This is a gorgeous capture. I agree about the digital cameras. We can just shoot and shoot and shoot to our heart's desire. This is definitely a keeper. genie
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shot! I love the light peeking through the clouds.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy digitals and the freedom of taking lots of shots. The downside is that it takes discipline to cull the best and toss out the others. And, on my camera, it's overwhelming how many options and controls there are. I liked the simplicity of my clunky old film camera!
Great capture of those rays!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
ReplyDeleteTerrific capture, Andy, and a glorious way to begin a day! I, too, agree with you and the others regarding digital cameras!! Enjoy your weekend!

Gorgeous. I see the wind generator in the foreground. I like seeing alternative power sources. - Margy
