I like the colour of this relic.

  1. I feel sorry for the bike to end up as a "flowerpot" :)

  2. Looks that it was once a real one now transformed in a piece of art. Hope it will live a long time.

  3. It is a cool color. I think that repurposing bikes this way is a good thing and quite attractive. We have some of these in our little downtown area.

  4. I do to! That is a very southwestern color and would look good here.

  5. Oh a beautiful color of bike. Yes shame it is a flower pot stand.

I can see Dick Vanddike riding that up the street with a pretty girl.

  6. Nice re-use of this non-moving vehicle!
I'm seeing more of these about, too.

  7. I'm of two minds about this bike in your fine photo. On the one hand it is an attention getting plant stand, but it wouldn't take much to make it a functional bicycle again. It just needs a loving owner to do some maintenance and replace a few parts unless the frame is bent or broken.

    1. Yes it is used as an attention getter by the shops on the street.

  8. I see it as imaginative, for someone to have the idea to paint it all one color. And you've captured another artful image.

  9. Aaaah. If only some of us could get a new coat of paint and look so good. *sigh*

  10. Perfect, Andy. I like the idea of using superannuated bikes as gardening props.

  11. I do too and the good use they put it to! Wonderful find in your town.

  12. Port Credit has several of these turquoise bikes scattered around town - but I don't think that's where you found this one?
