That you went out to take photo's with that cold, remarkable. And a nice one too. To have vapor by that temperature is really strange.
ReplyDeleteThat is very, very cold, brave you to go out with your camera.
ReplyDeleteBrrr....that is way too cold for me but, you certainly got a prize winning photo here. It's gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great shot! But are you crazy? I'm surprised your camera battery lasted long enough to take a picture in that cold!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI think ducks and swans are happy as long as the water isn't frozen. That makes me wonder; no ice at all there?
ReplyDeletelighting the way
ReplyDeleteIt is a beautiful lake scene. Don't worry about the ducks, they know how to take care of themselves!
ReplyDeleteFor the ducks the water is much warmer than the air. They are well insulated with duck down and fat. I'm surprised you were out shooting pictures in these temperatures.
ReplyDeleteThe red stands out beautifully!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful scene !!!
ReplyDeleteAs long as they've got a patch of open water, they're fine. Terrific shot!
ReplyDeleteThe fog really makes this shot. A knockout, Andy!
ReplyDeleteWhat a change we had this week, Andy!
ReplyDeleteYou are brave. I wimped out going outside and it was 20 degf warmer here. I like the vapor effect, that's very interesting.
ReplyDeleteThis is a very wonderful and classic type of scene. Would look great hanging on a wall.
ReplyDeleteThat pop of red is eye-catching!
ReplyDeleteLooks so much like the one up here in Meaford!
ReplyDeleteLovely photo. Never in my life have I been in such cold temperatures.
ReplyDeleteI agree with the others that this is a wonderful shot...and I also wonder that your camera worked in that cold. Mine freezes up fairly quickly.
ReplyDeleteAnd people here complain that it's cold at 5c... ;-)
