I was looking at the dog with the missing boot and the guy sitting across from me was looking at me. LOL |

The dog looks funny but the boots are important to protect the dog's sensitive feet on icy grounds.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo, Andy.
Funny to see that not only little kids lose a shoe, the dog doesn't look so happy with his low tail. However, the looking boy has a bright shoe!
ReplyDelete...I never feel comfortable taking pictures of people.
ReplyDeleteThe guy looks very skeptical. I've never seen a dog with boots before, it doesn't look thrilled.
ReplyDeleteThe dog is interesting, the guy is a little scary. Looks like he thinking he might like to toss you off the train! :)
ReplyDeleteThat guy looks like he's not too sure what you are doing. It must be very difficult to keep boots on a dog. Any dog I've had would have had them off in a matter of minutes.
ReplyDeleteWhy is the dog wearing boots? The guy watching looks a bit shifty
ReplyDeleteRock salt is used here in the winter to melt snow and ice on the roads and sidewalks. That causes a discomfort to a dog's paws. Therefore some people put the dog boots on them for protection.
DeleteNice street photography Andy. I like that
ReplyDeleteStreet photography is fun, great in an urban setting - a little harder in my town, population 13,000.
ReplyDeleteThat boot won't be found again, unfortunately.
ReplyDeleteDogs in booties walk like prancing horses. And the guy looking at you looks like he's got some interesting booties himself.
ReplyDeleteIt will be hard to walk with one boot missing! That guy doesn't look happy with you, Andy!
ReplyDeleteI was going to say. The chemicals the use on the roads around here play havoc on dog's paws here, too.
ReplyDeleteHe's going to need a new set booties. Looks like the guy is wondering what you're up to.
ReplyDeleteI love it when I see fun things in my photos that I didn't notice while taking the shot.
ReplyDeleteNever seen a dog wearing boots before. How unusual. Here in Barcelona most of the small dogs wear coats. It isn't very cold either. Apparently the dog owners are cold, so they put a coat on their dogs. Subways are always interesting places for photography.
ReplyDeletekind dog owner - mr. "eyes" looks like he is quite interested in you!!
ReplyDeleteAnd he then stood up and approached you and said . . . . . ?
ReplyDeleteLove the dog's booties, bummer about the missing one.
