Artist Elicser Elliott and his cross section of the city’s diverse faces. His art has had an impact on the cityscape of Toronto. From the “Hug Me Tree" (see it here) to the traffic signal boxes he has beautified as part of the StArt “Out of the Box” initiative, to his innumerable wall murals that can be spotted in both indoor and outdoor spaces across the Greater Toronto Area. |

ReplyDelete...and he has made his way down to Rochester too!
ReplyDeletewow, amazing art with a great message. i just adore murals - great self expression and a wonderful way to add beauty to an area!!
ReplyDeleteYeah...
ReplyDeleteI think it's beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThis mural celebrates the strength of urban diversity. It is the best of neighborhood art.
ReplyDeleteI see more and more murals whenever I head south to the city, especially Victoria. Which is a good thing, livens up the urban landscape.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen this one yet! It took me a minute to figure out where it is! Nice shot, Andy!
ReplyDeleteCan you tell me what action or plugin you used for this wonderful effect?
ReplyDeleteWhat effect?

ReplyDeleteThat's quite a mural and I really like the Hug Me tree. You even caught the artist in action!
ReplyDeleteSure everybody will see this painting !
ReplyDeleteI like the way you took this photo above the cars.
Interesting mural. I wonder if we have anything like it in the US?
ReplyDeleteThis photo is totally city! Art, nature, traffic, buildings...and are those railings for subway stairs? My daughter had a flight layover in Toronto and she was totally impressed with the very little she saw... but not the weather. :)
This looks familiar from when we were there.
