Depending on the builder's schedule this former home on Whitevale Rd., will be demolished to make way for a new subdivision. |

There is already a white shroud.
ReplyDeleteOh sad it has to vanish, it is such a pretty rural image this photo with the snow and the white house.
ReplyDeleteNo one has messed up this snow yard. Looks beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI love the shadows also.
Oh my, another one to bite the dust.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful scene.
...a shame!
ReplyDeleteThe tree shadow seems to have it arms extended saying stop, stop.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful scene, fresh snow and blue sky. Too bad about the house. It looks like a nice place in need for just a little TLC.
ReplyDeleteMuy bella escena invernal... Despide una serenidad inmensa...
ReplyDeleteWell, of course, there's nothing as important as new subdivisions. And the developers have no one to stop them for they keep paying to keep their politicians in office and in their pockets. At least that's the way it works around here. And then you have the Chambers of Commerce cheerleading for more building, more people, more roads, more pollution because the only thing that matters is that a few people get rich and the rest of us get smogged in.
ReplyDeleteThat's sad, Andy!
ReplyDeleteConsisting, of course, of the same five house designs over and over again.
ReplyDeleteIt's a nice old house, I like the front entrance, it's inviting.
ReplyDeleteI don't know what to say. It happens so often. I hope open spaces won't become extinct. Nice, serene shot.
ReplyDeleteThat's too bad it's coming down. I like the tree shadows and it makes me wonder, will those go too?
ReplyDeleteYeah, well== I'm sure the area needs another new subdivision complete with vinyl siding and disposable houses. I like the picture, though.
ReplyDeleteI take lots of photos of lots of things just for this reason--it may not be there forever. This is a lovely bit of scenery, too bad it won't be there long.
ReplyDeleteI like this shot. I don't like what's coming. I think William's probably right: the same five house designs over and over. Less space. Mature trees gone.
ReplyDeleteI hope they have the sense to leave the trees.
ReplyDeleteOhh really. That is quite sad. Such a wonderful setting, and beautiful photo.
