Looks to me not the cheapest of stones Andy. Yes more questions then answers.
ReplyDeleteI don't think anybody will live here in the future.
ReplyDelete...a wonderful study in brown, I've always like this style block.
ReplyDeleteStill looks sturdy but about that sun roof.
ReplyDeleteAgreed -- this leaves many questions....including, 'Did you encounter any field mice when shooting this?'
ReplyDeleteCertainly puts questions in my mind!
ReplyDeleteSome good bones there, someone obviously spent some money on the original construction. The diamond window is a nice touch. I'm with you, I'd like to know the history.
ReplyDeleteMe too. There are some good solid walls there.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you. I have an urge to learn who built the place, who lived there, what happened to those people. BTW, if you dig in and around the house you are likely to find all kinds of wonderful artifacts. Our son used to do that when he was a teen. He found some amazing things from the 19th century even.
ReplyDeleteQuite forlorn.
ReplyDeleteThose blocks look like they will stand for a long while yet, Andy!
ReplyDeleteImagining--- That's the best part of pictures of old abandoned buildings.
ReplyDeleteThe stone frame will outlast everything unless man knocks it down. I wonder what its story is?
ReplyDeletemy sentiments exactly (about questions and answers)!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean......sad yet artful.
ReplyDeletei know what you are talking about!!
ReplyDeleteand you are the master of nighttime photography - your images are amazing, its not easy!!!
It does pose a lot of questions when so many people don't have a home.
ReplyDeleteMuy bien captado este espacio en el que, en otros tiempos, habra habido tanta vida
ReplyDeleteUn abrazo
