ReplyDeleteMy impression is that vaping is less harmful, so I view this as a very positive trend that we should encourage.

ReplyDeleteYup, the same thing is going on here. I actually worked with a guy who was vaping to stop smoking but, it didn't work. The last time I saw him, he was smoking again.
ReplyDeleteI see the face at his side- rather more interesting than the smoker. E-cigarettes or not, it's a vile habit.
ReplyDeleteI don't know much about vaping - my only issue with it is there seems to be some ambiguity about rules. I guess I would like them to follow the same rules as smoking. Smoking isn't allowed where I work or on the subway platform, but I seem to be seeing a lot of vaping in these places. I seriously dislike walking behind someone who is vaping.

ReplyDeleteMy son vapes and I am not sure how I feel about it. There is not enough studies of how it effects you long run. But for the person on the other end that don't smoke, I love the smell better! Esp. apple pie and other scents.

ReplyDeleteI know next to nothing about it. I've only observed that there seems to be a lot more smoke, or vapor, surrounding the user. (Love the little face behind this guy.)

Not only is the "smoke" from vaping dangerous (it does contain nicotine), but the batteries may explode and burn. Decrease in tobacco use is the right direction.
