It's a lovely portrait, but I wish no-one smokes. . .ever. I will shortly attend the memorial and funeral of ANOTHER friend whose life was painfully cut short form smoking!
ReplyDeleteSo true! And, that would be a good thing.
ReplyDeleteWonderful picture! I have known too many people who have had their life cut short by smoking. I'm glad I never took up the habit.
ReplyDeletei'm glad that it is. although on saturday while we were at the chili cookoff, we sat at an outdoor restaurant and a woman near us was "sneaking" a smoke. rude! i do like your image though!
ReplyDeleteAn excellent portrait shot Andy, and an appropriate title!
ReplyDeleteGreat street shot
ReplyDeleteThe man stooping there in the middle of the wall mural enjoying his smoke made for a wonderful capture. It is one that really makes me think about my age and how things have changed in my lifetime. This is a beautiful capture.
ReplyDeleteYou made a wonderful portrait, Andy.
ReplyDeleteGreat portrait but I can testify that smoking is definitely not dead in Paris. Smoke and smokers everywhere. It was good to get back to fresher air in North America!
ReplyDeleteThis is a fabulous photo, Andy. And a fine play on words in the title.
