Yes, he was a remarkable man, an icon, may he rest in peace.
ReplyDeleteWhat a world we would have if all leaders shared the courage and compassion of this man. A very bright light has burned out, but he was such a beacon for many during his lifetime.
ReplyDeleteThe words are so true, pity our leaders are cowards who do not follow his ways and only pay lipservice to his deeds
ReplyDeleteWell said. I love your perspective - both of the shot and your way of thinking.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful tribute, he was a real beacon during a dark chapter. It feels such a loss, no matter where, what age, or what culture one hails from...
ReplyDeleteVery nice post!
ReplyDeleteYes....
ReplyDeleteA very special man! If only more of our leaders were as wise as he. I like your tribute.
ReplyDeleteYes a pity that the path of the great so seldom is followed by the people who should know better.
ReplyDeleteA lovely tribute for a beautiful man.
ReplyDeleteNice one, Andy!
ReplyDeleteIn your photo , you not only show a guiding light but a bright light. It's fitting for Nelson Mandela as he was not only a guiding light but a bright light.
ReplyDeleteFantastic!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tribute and such a nice photo to go with it. So well spoken. The world was lucky to have a leader like him.
