This was just before sunrise and the gulls have spotted something in the water. There was no wind so that the cloud in the background stayed stationary for the longest time. The steam rising from the water this side of the point of land is cause by the hot water flowing from the nuclear power plant.

Wow, Andy. Great shot.
ReplyDeleteWhat a stunning sky with clouds!
ReplyDeleteWe caught a wonderful mood Andy.
ReplyDeletea little light, a little fog, some gulls : your shot is fantastic
ReplyDeleteyou can out it on a wall
We who get up early in the morning often see some pretty amazing sights, and your photo today captures nature very well.
ReplyDeleteWow! Super shot!
ReplyDeleteThose gulls certainly are excited about something!
ReplyDeleteThe colour on the water is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteAny time the air is cooler than the water, as often happens in cool fall and winter mornings, mist will rise. Heat is one of the by products of a nuclear power plant.
ReplyDeleteBetween the sky and the steam and those birds, you've created a fabulous photo.
ReplyDeleteThat really is a wonderful shot, Andy.
ReplyDeleteWow! that is a spectacular shot!
ReplyDeleteAwesome photo Andy.
ReplyDeleteNice capture of the clouds and rising fog.
ReplyDeleteAn amazing image, Andy.
