Feeding Frenzy

This was just before sunrise and the gulls have spotted something in the water. There was no wind so that the cloud in the background stayed stationary for the longest time. The steam rising from the water this side of the point of land is cause by the hot water flowing from the nuclear power plant.

  4. Any time the air is cooler than the water, as often happens in cool fall and winter mornings, mist will rise. Heat is one of the by products of a nuclear power plant.
