Armada is the right word for this! All with their nose in the same direction.
ReplyDeleteAndy, please keep them up in Canada.
ReplyDeleteLooks like we have the same birds in the water.
ReplyDeleteThat is a neat shot. Looks like a bunch of decoys. We get a dozen or so at a time here and considering the racket just those few make, I cannot imagine how much noise this herd could muster up.
ReplyDeleteArmada is a good description!
ReplyDeleteLove the photo, Andy. Reminds me of flotilla of ships!
ReplyDeleteOur weather is too warm for them to stay here. We have about 20 overnighting. But the cold air leaves them up north.
ReplyDeleteThat's a whole lot of them!
ReplyDeleteLately they seem to be flying over our house in greater and greater numbers--- must be the new "lakes" from all of the rain we're having... Nice shot.
ReplyDeleteAnd you can see from which side the wind comes.
ReplyDeleteFabulous!
ReplyDeleteWow! That's a lot of geese!
ReplyDeleteWow! I'll say! Nice!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. So many, but it is very picturesque.
ReplyDeleteWow! That is a lot!
ReplyDeleteUp near Baltimore where my daughter lives, i see crowds of them like this frequently...but they are in the fields and not on the water. This is a LOT.
ReplyDeleteGeese armada is right!! That's a LOT of geese!
ReplyDeleteWow! That is an amazing amount of geese. Awesome photo Andy.
ReplyDeleteIs this true ... geese are occupying.
ReplyDeleteFantastic image !!
Nice! I saw something like this recently and was surprised that nearly all of the geese were turned in the same direction.
