Winter Light Beacon #2

Andy | Monday, February 22, 2016 | Best Blogger Tips

Carrying on from yesterday's posting. The water evaporation on this side looks more like fog. The beacon is located on the entrance to the harbour. Coming In Rule: When entering harbour (up stream) the red port mark should be kept on the boat's port (left) side the green mark on the boat's starboard (right) side. Going Out Rule: When leaving harbour (down stream) the red port mark should be kept on the boat's starboard (right) side and the green mark on the boat's port (left) side. My thanks to the National Boating College for the information.

  5. Is not low lying evaporated water called fog? Makes the lighthouse look mysterious and a little spooky.

  6. I like your winter beacons. They are both dramatic with different lighting conditions - fascinating.
