I agree with you . So half your meal from a food court you can't put in such a bag. Okay then leave it on the grass.
ReplyDeleteNot what I think of as a "doggy bag". But I have to admit, Toronto and the surrounding cities do a good job with keeping the sidewalks clean! I've never once stepped in any doo!
ReplyDeleteha! yes, but that's a great service!
ReplyDeleteLOL....You are so right.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! I bet more people would stoop and scoop if the bags are provided.
ReplyDeleteNot only are the CONTENTS biodegradable, but the bags are TOO! Yippee!
ReplyDeleteHaving to clean up after your dog is getting quite common here. But I agree about the meaning of a 'doggy bag'..;)
ReplyDeletePretty crafty caption!
ReplyDelete"Dog waste diversion" is a wonderful example of bureaucrat-speak, I love it! And I agree, not everyone takes along a bag for doggy-do. And sometimes, people even need more than one bag if the dog decides to take more than one potty-break.

The park has a number of hi-rise apartments around so it's a use area for people and pets.
DeleteI think I like this better than "poop and scoop"!
ReplyDeleteHaha, what a bombastic name for the project!
ReplyDeleteSeeing more and more of these conveniences on our trail systems, too. Now if we could only get the geese to clean up their messes!
ReplyDelete~Lindy
we should use more biodegradable products. great job toronto.
ReplyDeleteDog waste is always an issue between dog walkers and park users. Perhaps this plan will work?
ReplyDeleteI love your sense of humor - you have a funny way of looking at things!
ReplyDeleteHow much doggie poop is one dog going to put onto the ground? genie
ReplyDeleteI sure hope these bags don't degrade TOO quickly!
ReplyDeleteNot sure if the bag reads "dog pot" or "dog rot" as the website name. Either way, my virus checker blocks it and says :"high risk". A creative council has implemented this - probably with a little community pressure.
ReplyDeletei love when trails offer these! and i wonder if the term doggy bag is even used anymore. now when we get something to go we just ask for a box....but as a kid i remember my parents always asking for a doggy bag. what a funny term!
ReplyDeletewhat a great service to dog owners!
