The only reason I would take up jogging is so that I could hear heavy breathing again. Erma Bombeck

  1. Hi Andy. I found you via Brian King's blog. Thought I'd pop over and see yours. I like your photography! I invite you to visit my blog, and to follow along as well (if you like). I loved your comment on Brian's flying honkers: Air Canada. Very clever. Have a great day, and hello from Montana. Mona

  2. That Erma was a very wise woman (funny too).

  3. My Mom always warned me about fast women, and these three look like speed demons.

    1. Time for a reality check. There's only two women there. :) I also sometimes have trouble telling the difference. That's what happens when you come from a generation when men were men and women were women... so we thought.

    2. See, Mom was right. Don't chase any of them. As if I could! Use to run, but gave it up years ago.

  4. I can tell by the legs that only two are women even from the back. The quote goes well with this shot.

  5. Sometimes scenery can be very motivating! My daughter runs cross country and I like to think she's doing enough running for both of us. :-)

  7. Nice take Andy. I read all her books and then gave to the Good Will so others could read them. Have a nice Sunday Andy.

  9. Oh yes, the one in the middle is a man.
Loved Erma Bombeck. And when I opened this page, I laughed so much my husband came to look over my shoulder, then had me e-mail him the quotation.

  10. I'm not a runner, either, though I like taking photos of runners. (Love the quote, and I decline to comment about its relevance.)
