I am still operating on Windows 7. How about you?

  1. Lots of broken windows, there. I'm on windows 8 - not overly fond of it, but I think I just don't get the point. Why put a bunch of unnecessary apps on a computer? Maybe it's me.

  3. Perhaps your Windows 7 is looking broken, neglected, and abandoned? Use Mac OS-X myself. It is mostly seamless, inconspicuous, and trouble free. Do like your windows photo very much, however.

  4. Some are broken, I see.
I have three computers right now. One has Vista, one has 7 and one has 8. They all have little quirks that are annoying.

  5. New laptop here came with Windows 8. Didn't care for 7 but learned to live with it. This is marginally better if I am forced to say. I was content with XP.

  6. That photo is a great metaphor for Windoze. Never liked DOS much myself, been a Mac user since 1984. Now on OSX 10.9. Never look back.

  8. I've always been on Mac! I think that building is now going to be condos, at one time they talked about Loblaws opening a large store in it but that seems to have fallen through.

  10. I like Win 7 much better than XP and it's not old enough to make me want to upgrade to 8. It's not broken, unlike some of the windows above.

  11. Your windows is all broken up...so sad. My Mac OS X10.9.1 is doing just fine.

  13. I was on a Mac OS for decades. After years of carping, my husband got me onto Windows - Vista, which lasted for years without problems, which was unusual. I'm on 7 now and have loved it until Internet Explorer upgraded itself to 11. Now either I have some virus that evades Norton or I have a conflict with 7. Internet access is back in cart and wagon speeds. (Did you really need to hear my whining? Sorry...)
