Must be a fan from a club or?
ReplyDeleteI don't know what she is. I never saw her asking anyone for money but she did ask the guy behind her for a cigarette and he gave her one..
DeleteWow Andy, what a great picture. She has a lot of stuff with her on her back, a blanket. I hope she is not a bag lady but on her way to a nice camp with friends.
ReplyDeleteshe's unique...i wonder what her story is
ReplyDeletePerfect!! You captured her expression with such honesty. I do so wish I would learn to get the courage to approach interesting strangers and get their photos
ReplyDeleteI know the feeling of photographing strangers on the street. It can overwhelm you with fear. When she saw me about to photograph her she stopped and gave me this pose. We then both went our own ways with no words exchanged.
DeleteBeautiful eyes and sweet face expression.
ReplyDeleteShe is what I'd call a free spirit with very pretty eyes.
ReplyDeleteNice shot! I like the way she is looking at the camera. The guy behind her certainly seems amused!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful eyes she has!
ReplyDeleteYes, a very unique individual. She looks too well done up to be a street person. Maybe she's backpacking her way across Canada, do kids do that anymore?
ReplyDeleteBizarre bu not unusual on the streets of Toronto.
ReplyDeleteShe has a lovely smile...good capture!
ReplyDeleteWonderful capture, Andy. Far more often than not, I'm too uncomfortable photographing someone on the street. Every now and then, I can't resist and think that I can do it more regularly. Then the next time comes along and..
ReplyDeleteYou do such a fine job with your subjects.
And apparently she saw you, too. :-)
ReplyDeleteShe looks like she is travelling!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Lois. The fellow in the background really completes the picture. And I'm amazed that no words were exchanged.
ReplyDeleteAnd now I have that old Beatles song going in my head...I suppose I could think of worse ones to have stuck in there...8-)
What an interesting look she has. Love her expression. And I recognized the lyrics from that Beatles song off my mom's album. Love that music still.
ReplyDeleteAndy, great portrait of a most unique person on a cool day. Red and black seems to be her colors. That is an enchanting smile.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous "stranger portrait!" She leaves us with all sorts of questions.
ReplyDeleteThe guy behind her seems amused!
ReplyDeleteLove her look and her youthful style!!
ReplyDeleteIn trying to synch all my Apple computers/iphone, I've had nothing but trouble since. Back to Apple Tech tomorrow. Scroll bar absent from many sites; working on it.
Wow! Those eyes!
ReplyDeleteIs that a "Come hither" look or a "Go thither" look. Great street portrait.
