It may be looking a bit grey, but I like those barns, so typical for Canada.
ReplyDeleteIt looks a bit like pretty decay but I love that sight. Great shot Andy.
ReplyDeleteThe muted tones in this photo make the photo quite special!
ReplyDeleteThe tones in this photo are fantastic. It really mades a moody scene. That said, I do think those barns would benefit from a nice coat of red paint.
ReplyDeleteAren't we all looking for spring. By the way this is a most interesting clutter of a barn. It just grew!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shot!
ReplyDeleteI've got to say Andy that this is the most beautiful barn shot I have ever seen!
ReplyDeleteFabulous, Andy! Frame it.
ReplyDeleteThis is a gorgeous shot, truly outstanding. The muted colors are perfect.
ReplyDeletewhat a beautiful, weathered place! love it!
ReplyDeletefunny how different it is. here spring seems done already everything bloomed...!
ReplyDeleteoh, and this is a very pretty picture, i like such barns...
ReplyDeleteIt won't take long before green weeds will pop all over the place. Great looking photo of this old farm. Love the rust. Too bad farming has changed so. In the Ag Census released today it was shown that only 1% of farms produce 66% of the farm products sold in the U.S.. Three quarters of all farms produce only 1% of products, and farmers can't survive on that. Those large productive farms produce over a million dollars in sales a year and are mostly owned by large corporations, e.g. factory farms.
ReplyDeleteYou sure found a photogenic barn. Maybe we should see this in summer, then in autumn, then in winter?
ReplyDeleteBeing from Texas I haven't seen these beautifes. The barn complex is wonderful. xo Jenny
ReplyDeleteWow! That's a great old farm!
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely farm!

I really like the subtle sky and muted colors - definitely like to see this one printed. There is so much detail in this bucolic scene. Well spotted and captured.
ReplyDeleteoh I like this. A paint in the ladder spring would really spruce it up.
ReplyDeleteA great find though Andy. Looks like my late sister's barn in Stouville 9th line in yonder and back the house. Yet her son has the farm for many years so I think it would be painted. He runs a Dairy Farm. Do you go up and round there for Farm pics. Great place to go. Your not far away from the area.
Really, a very nice photo. Not a typical scene in my part of the world.
