Lucky you. Its a thought not many have with this weather conditions but you are right of course. Still I hope your dream doesn't take to long.
ReplyDeleteThat is a relief indeed, not have to go out in this weather.
ReplyDeleteIt's freshly fallen and still attractive, but will soon turn to your apt definition. . . krap!!
ReplyDeleteIt is also the dream answered of a retired teacher who drove 55 miles every day to and from her school. Thanks goodness I can stay here in my old farmhouse reading and quilting. That photo is scary...and we are doe for frigid temps tonite but NO snow thank goodness.
ReplyDeleteAndy, glad you don't have to go anywhere in this weather. Your shot is beautiful. Love the light.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad I don't have to deal with this stuff anymore!!
ReplyDeleteYep...it's all in what your day involves! If you can stay inside, it's lovely! ha.
ReplyDeleteSometimes the worst of it was spending 30 minutes cleaning off the car and warming it up enough to drive. I can't imagine driving a bus in you climate!
ReplyDeleteI agree. It's a good day to curl up with a warm blanket, watch a western with my guy and drink cocoa all day long.
ReplyDeleteThe wind chill here is supposed to reach minus -50 the next 2 days. That's cold enough to freeze your nostrils shut!!!
Stay warm, my friend. Stay warm.
One of the perks of getting old is not having to go out in the snow. Another one is that I don't have to google "rumble seat" to know what it is.
ReplyDeleteWe are buried here. The snow is pretty though.
ReplyDeleteOh I see what you mean. I try to see it as a challenge when I have to go to work in this weather ;)
ReplyDeleteI've had enough! Can't wait until I'm sweltering in July.
ReplyDeleteI don't care how pretty it is when it's fresh. I can't imagine living in it. And I'll bet you have plenty of memories of the days when you did have to clear your way through that stuff and go to work driving in it. Go enjoy another cup of coffee and reflect on the good life of retirement. Stay warm!
ReplyDeleteNo additional snow for us, but we did get some single digit temps.
ReplyDeleteMust be so good to sit inside and watch the .....freezing, world go by Andy :)
