I was watching her as she struggled to get the newspaper box to work. It took her few tries to get it open. I didn't realized until I got home and viewed my daily photo catch that she was the same person I photographed earlier in the day. You can see that photo here.

Another one from daily life. Its a real good street photo. I like it Andy.
ReplyDeleteShe looks as though the intricacy of a pay-box is a bit much for her.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like it's too cold to function easily!
ReplyDeleteI'm back again after checking your link; you got two great photos of her!!
ReplyDeleteThank you... but most of it is luck.
DeleteI recognized the scarf right away and wondered if she was someone you knew. Now I see that it was coincidence and that you're probably not following her around. ;)
DeleteYou do very well with street photography, Andy.
You're lucky you were charged with "stalking"! :) Funny. And sometimes those darn boxes don't work too well if they've been out in the weather.
ReplyDeleteOh, isn't that amazing you found her twice! She looks cold in that first one!
ReplyDeleteWe all commented on a lady in a fur coat earlier this month. Are you sure you didn't capture her three times? ha.
I don't think she's happy about the struggle.
ReplyDeleteReally impressive you caught her twice! ( I did wonder before I clicked your link whether it might've been that so-cold-mouths-have-to-be-covered shot:) Nice portraits, both - she was having a bit of a morning!
ReplyDeleteI like this one!
ReplyDeleteShe may think you are a stalker ;)
ReplyDeleteboth are great shots. the look on her face is priceless - and one reason I always buy my newspaper at a store!
ReplyDeleteThat is pretty interesting. I would not have thought them to be the same person, though of course they are both wearing the same clothes!
ReplyDeleteWhat are the odds on that, Andy! Good ones.
ReplyDeleteI recognized her immediately, though I'd keep my distance from her when she's annoyed. She looks like she's ready to kick the newspaper box, or worse.
ReplyDeletethat's pretty weird, great shot by the way !
ReplyDeleteYes I recognized her immediately by her furcoat, don't show her your photo, I thinks she will not pleased with it...
ReplyDeleteGood shots. Andy the police constable may like you to join the police force. You have a eye for double takes. Oh you took the double takes. Tee, hee. I knew. Well for all you know. Andy she may be on the most wanted list.
ReplyDeleteOne time I saw a guy kicking a newspaper box because he put in his money and then thought they were out of papers. I showed him how to get the last paper out of the front cage (where it shows through the window). He was a bit sheepish. We used to always buy a paper when we traveled, but the last few years we haven't bothered (although we still subscribe when we're home). I wonder how long they will hang on!
ReplyDeleteNice picture of a frustrating moment.
