Looks remarkably on the new amsterdam trains.
ReplyDeleteOddly this looks like a communist country with all the heavy clothing and neutral colors.
ReplyDeleteNo KGB here... just RCMP.
DeleteSince when do we have RCMP in Ontario? ;)
DeleteGreat perspective in this shot, Andy.
I am surprised by that, how come? No students in the city?
ReplyDeleteThey are at school.
DeleteThe politicians have screwed up Toronto's transit infrastructure so bad. This subway extension was built in it's present location because of the lower construction cost cost.
Not like the one in London then
ReplyDeleteReminds me so much of my recent trip to London.
ReplyDeleteAt least Toronto has a subway system. That's more than the cities around here. Subways are the fastest way to get around cities that have them. What? No hockey sticks being carried?
ReplyDeleteIncredibly shiny and unused looking indeed, for a major city subway. It's sad it wasn't planned better! (And yes, our tiny movie house dates back to the silent film era - it's a bit antiquated but sweet:)
ReplyDeleteSo clean and shiny ... I would have thought it would be teeming with students Andy..
ReplyDeleteIt looks all clean, fresh and modern.
ReplyDeleteI've been seeing articles online about "No Pants Day", a now world wide affair where commuters ride the public transit sans pants. I guess it is held in the first week of the New Year. No doubt some students took part on this line.
ReplyDeleteGreat perspective and reflections!
ReplyDeleteThat's a shame. I would have been out of jobs many times over if I'd performed as badly as some/most politicians. And yet they stay, fat and coddled, at the public trough.
ReplyDeleteIt is quite busy in rush hour, Andy! The Sheppard line is hardly ever used at all - it was a vanity thing for Mel Lastman.
ReplyDeleteVery shiny and very clean.
ReplyDeleteNice! I've never been on a subway.
ReplyDeletelooks nice and clean!
ReplyDeleteuniversity lines here are the busiest!
I lived on that line!
ReplyDeleteThis almost looks like a fisheye shot. That is one clean line. Like the green.
