Dancing In The Street

Halifax, Nova Scotia. - So far this is my all time favourite character I have photograph on the street. He had a ghetto blaster and was dancing to the music. He also had a empty coffee cup in one hand hoping for people to make a donation. The first thing that impress me about him was that he was offering entertainment (rather than begging) for loose change.

The seconded thing that impressed me was the big smile he gave me when he caught me photographing him.

  1. The guy looks happy but I hope it is not from a drug or alcohol.

  2. Did you offer him something in his coffee cup? His audience doesn't look very impressed by his performance.

  3. Hope you dropped him a couple of dollars

  9. The distinction between dancing and begging is fairly elusive. (I like his expression of recognition.)

  10. Sad that he has to do this, but he's making it entertaining. We have a guy that dresses up like Lady Liberty during tax season, to promote a local tax service. He stands on the corner of a very busy highway, dancing and singing all day long. I must remember to photograph him next=t year!!
