It has been an extra hot summer. Even a short stroll will bring out the sweat. |

Car Art
From an antique car lover’s viewpoint pure blasphemy. __ |
Albert Broussard the owner has been asked many time "Why would you do this?" __ |
His reply would be "it’s been an antique since I was a kid and I wanted something different". __ |

St. Paul's Church
Built in 1750, it is a local landmark and is the oldest Anglican Church in North America and the oldest building in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Wonder why I am the only one in the church? There is a rumour circulating that if I enter a church the roof will collapse. So when people see me enter they clear out. I am linking to InSPIREd Sunday. |

Tanks A Lot
The Holy Roller, a permanently mounted Sherman tank, stands tribute to the Canadian WWII effort and to the 700 men of the First Hussars regiment. __ |
The tank is thought to be the only one of its kind to survive the North-West Europe Campaign from D-Day to VE Day. It currently sits as a memorial tribute at Victoria Park in London, Ontario. |

Blue On Blue
I am a fan of B&W... Blue & White. The flag of The Province Quebec is often called the "fleur-de-lis". The white cross originates from ancient royal flags of France. Contrary to popular belief, the fleurs-de-lis are not taken from the banners of French kings, who used golden fleurs-de-lis. The white fleurs-de-lis, on Quebec's flag, are symbols of purity; which originally represented the Virgin Mary. Thanks to the "World Flags" for the info. |
