Along The Way

This was one of those times when I came across the unexpected and bizarre. The Grand Rassemblement is a creation of sculptures mainly made of concrete (the odd one of wood) by the artist Marcel Gagnon, The movement of tides reveals and hides them. Exhibited on the shoreline of the St. Lawrence River in Sainte-Flavie, in the Lower St. Lawrence, Quebec.

She is well hidden away from prying eyes.

Had to set my exposure to the sunlight and use my flash to brighten up the shady interior.

I don't know much about cars but am guess she is from the 1930's. If you know the make and year please leave a comment.

This is the view I had from from my hotel room. Deposited in the Gulf of St. Lawrence, this icon was once connected to the mainland and had three arches. It now exhibits a single unique arch.

Photography is all about light. At sunset the rock takes on a whole new look.
