Confederation Bridge crosses the Northumberland Strait and connects the Province of Prince Edward Island (PEI) to the mainland of New Brunswick, Canada. It takes about 10 minutes to drive across. There is one toll of $42.50 to be paid when leaving PEI.

This is what remains of an old mill dam. At one time in the past, these dams were used to supply water power for lumber or flour mills. This one actual has a water chute that had a small turbine for electric power.
