On The Beach
Sand Castles Prince Edward Island. Canada's smallest province boasts an impressive 23 beaches, so while in PEI you are never more than a few minutes away from a beach. Instead of the typical white colour, they have a rosy red colour. The red comes from the abundance of iron from the red sandstone that has eroded onto the beach.

Track Maintenance
In order to keep the tracks in the best conditions, rail inspections are performed regularly, this is done by using Hi-Rail trucks. Track workers are expected to maintain the tracks with the utmost care while performing jobs such as changing cross ties, lubricating and adjusting switches, and tightening loose track components. Happy Canada Day!
On July 1, 1867, the nation was officially born when the Constitution Act joined three provinces into one country: Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and the Canada province, which then split into Ontario and Quebec. Canada Day occurs on the same date each year (July 1). It’s a public holiday and workers have the day off. Since 1867, Canada has grown to include six more provinces and three territories, the most recent being the territory of Nunavut in 1999. The country is now made up of 13 provinces and territories.
