This is Fred and Fredetta. That's a name that my wife I gave these two geese. They were regulars feeding off the droppings from my bird feeder in the winter. This is first and only time that I have ever seen geese sitting on a perch What else does "G stand for? Find out at ABC Wednesday

They're so still, i thought they were decoys. And I'm glad they're sitting on the perch, because if they were stand back where I initially thought they were, they'd be HUGE!

How unusual! I've never seen geese perching like that, either! Fun picture!
ReplyDeleteLove the creative photo. However, unfortunately, when I see these geese in our yard, "G" is for "GO, GET, GO, GO away!" A pound of those green slimy droppings a day is too much!

It looks as if they are having a chinwag about life! How brilliant.
ReplyDeleteOh my gush, that is very cool. I so love it!! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteG is for Gold
I laughed at the symmetry of the shot! Great photo. I'm glad they weren't AT the feeder.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful photo! I too thought they were decoys.
ReplyDeleteWhoa - I've never seen geese perched like that before ... love the symmetry of their poses - they're like a couple of old washerwomen putting the world to rights :)
ReplyDeleteHow funny! I thought they were 'pretend'. A nifty photo!
