Making Waves

Andy | Saturday, December 07, 2013 | Best Blogger Tips

Due to mild temperatures December 3 felt more like a spring day rather than a winter day. The beavers were out and more active than normal. I spotted three beavers swimming around. This one passed under a bridge that I was standing on. He appears to have a small portion of a branch in his (her?) mouth.

  1. Very nice shot Andy. You are a lucky guy with so much animals in your environment who are not to shy to show themselves. Now the housing of them what must be nearby.

  5. Wonderful shot, Andy. We thought we spotted a beaver in our lake a few weeks back but a more recent visit from muskrat had us rethink what we had seen. You have a lovely capture, here.

  10. That's a big wow - I've never seen a live beaver. Lucky you! (And lucky you for your weather! At 8 p.m. our temp is -5C. We went to Victoria on Thursday and it snowed (lightly) most of the day.)
