Winter... Blah

Andy | Tuesday, December 29, 2015 | Best Blogger Tips

The first taste of real winter rolled through here overnight. It is a mixture of snow and freezing rain. It is going to be a difficult day for anyone who has to walk or drive in this weather. Later today most of this will melt as temperatures will rise to 5°c (41°F). This is the closest I will get to going outside today. Staying inside on stormy days is a privilege granted to retired bus drivers.

  4. We were suppose to get 6-8 inches of new snow last night, but so far not a single flake. Andy, that same privilege is granted to retired university professors.

  12. I'm with you: perfect time to hunker down inside with a cup of cocoa. And yet, it looks like you took this photo while outside. Daring do in my opinion.

  13. Retired bus drivers are always welcome to head to Florida with the rest of the Snowbirds from the dozen North ))) (or the gray and wet North as in our case). Your picture makes winter look pretty though!
