  2. Yes it is relentless isn't it. I work in construction on the side of tree protection and establishment and its so difficult. I spent some time in Toronto a few years back and was delighted to learn that all trees within the city limits are protected. That is not the case here, individual protection orders may exist but anything else if fair game for the developer and the land owner. As such is they choose to clear fell their site prior to submitting a planning application there is little that can be done, its very disheartening. I loved your city and what I saw of Canada.

  3. But that usually a good sign... My husband and I always laugh about how in Vermont, you see excavating - everywhere. We think there is an awful lot of hole digging going on there. Another great street image, Andy!

  4. Construction machinery here is usually yellow. The big cities have the same issue, there seems to always be some construction going on creating traffic problems.

  9. Cities are always under construction. The three major sources of noise in cities are 1) Transportation systems, 2) Constructions, and 3) Children at play.
