Waiting

It is 6:43 A.M. and and local bylaws do not allow construction work to begin before 7 A.M. These trucks are parked on the side of the road waiting for the countdown to end. When that happens they will begin hulling dirt from the construction site of a new condominium hi-rise.

  1. There are a lot of construction activities in your surroundings, expanding and everytime higher up. It is the sign of the time here too.

  2. I knew I was an earlier riser for some reason---less noise and diesel exhaust. You caught their rainbow of color well.

  3. That's most interesting because we have the same rules up here. I know at Stone Creek the trucks can't come in the gate until after 7 so you can seen them lined up down the road, just waiting!

  6. Wow -- sure is bright before 7 a.m. up there! Efficient management having the trucks lined up and ready to go when the clock strikes 7.
