We used to see this on our cottage lake in Michigan every winter, Andy, but I can't remember the last time I saw this with my own eyes. It's something I'd enjoy doing. :)
I wouldn't take my mittens of and touch a wet line with my bare hands in those conditions lets alone with hooks and fish on it but its a great portrait Andy.
