Nice find! I really like the round headlights.
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful rendering of the metal worn by time and rust. Interesting note also
ReplyDeleteVery cool, Andy! I like the lines of this one.
ReplyDelete...I've seen a few Henry Js at car shown. This poor baby needs some love!
ReplyDeleteAnd that was a lot of money back then.
ReplyDeleteWow! I never heard of the Henry J's!
ReplyDeleteGreat shame it ended like that when it could be restored
ReplyDeletePues este parece que ha cumplido de sobra su cometido.
ReplyDeleteUn abrazo.
Must have been quite the car to drive back in the day. I'm still amazed how well built these old cars are. Excellent find, Andy.
ReplyDeleteThis one is beyond saving.
ReplyDeleteIt makes me feel like my child days when these might have been on our roads. Makes me smile.
ReplyDeleteA sad old one-eyed car now.
ReplyDeleteThese were economy cars before economy cars became popular. Good shot of this sad old car.
ReplyDeleteI saw a lot of them back then--- There were a lot of Kaiser employees who may have gotten a discount. Henry J. had a very nice estate not far from my childhood home.
ReplyDeleteOnce a great car. Still waiting for a restoration.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you are looking into a rusty mouth...
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you found this, it's really cool. I think I see a Buick Riviera on the right side.
ReplyDeleteWould have been a shiny beauty in '53 Andy!
