...a study in brown!
ReplyDeleteYou have such a good eye, Andy!
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me so much of growing up in Illinois. Scenes like this were common.
ReplyDeleteExcellent picture.
ReplyDeleteBarns are the remains of a farm life centered on animals which no longer exists. Animal production has been taken over by "factory" farms. This barn photo is a perfect example of farming that is now centered on grain production which has no need for a barn or silo.
ReplyDeleteYou wonder what shape it's in now.
ReplyDeleteAn old and tired barn. I wonder if it's still there and standing.
ReplyDeleteLove the old barns! It would be interesting to see if it's there now.
ReplyDeleteWell used barn.
ReplyDeleteBuena imagen del mundo rural, amigo
ReplyDeleteUn saludo
What an apt title - it is a fine depiction
ReplyDeleteThat's more like what we see around here. Holes in the barn, a missing top on the silo on the right. The expense of maintaining these buildings must keep people from doing what's needed. Still... even as it decays, this barn truly has charm.
ReplyDeleteHow nice blends all together. I like that.
ReplyDeleteIt looks very old for sure...
