Time blends everything in balance. Great shot again Andy.
ReplyDelete...charming indeed, we have a number of its cousins around here!
ReplyDeleteAndy, so good to have these barns documented as they are disappearing from our landscapes. There is a certain sadness to see these structures vanish as the nature of agriculture evolves.
ReplyDeleteAre there just empty spaces there now, Andy?
ReplyDeleteShame it was torn down but maybe it was unstable.
ReplyDeleteIt certainly was on it's last leg in this photo. I just watched a story on the PBS Newshour about a place in Michigan where artists have been doing a variety of art with old barns. The actual barns. Sometimes they painted on them and sometimes they cut designs in them. It was interesting.
ReplyDeleteNow it lives on the blog for millions of viewers to see.
ReplyDeletebaby boomers are going to get abused and treated like garbage in the retirement homes. Maybe you boomers shouldn't have been so selfish and arrogant and greedy. Literally everyone hates baby boomers now. Enjoy those retirement homes, and good luck, boomers!
ReplyDeleteWell you captured it which is good, proof it was there.
ReplyDeleteThis barn seems to stand up in good will.
ReplyDeleteYes there was not much to renovated there I think!
ReplyDeleteThat would have been inevitable.
